Sex in the news

Train Jerk-Offs

It is interesting from where some folks will shoot their naughty content.

Prompted by a news report on the Dutch news site NOS, presently more than one hundred “disgusting and unacceptable videos of ‘train jerk-offs’” are available for people who are members on content platforms, like F2F and OnlyFans. It seems these Dutch train masturbation videos, shot on phones from the train compartments, are becoming ever more popular in the country. According to the above article often unsuspecting passengers are caught on the video as well, and in almost half the cases, the person shooting the content 'comes into their own station,' so to speak, by climaxing.

These public videos are also accessible on X.

A Dutch OnlyFans creator said in the above article that “These types of videos yield three to four times more than a regular video of two people having sex in a room. Also, they are often done on request, which means a higher payment."

Dutch law prohibits public masturbation, but it was only last month that the law emphatically redefined trains as public places. And despite the Dutch courts policing tube sites these train jerk-off posts seem to be growing.

The question is why.

Public sex/masturbation

Public masturbation is not just on the rise with the Dutch and salacious content sites. According to this recent report, public masturbation has also seen a rise in frequency in New York City. But there are plenty of laws to crack down on public exposure (often called indecent exposure) no matter what is being exposed and how it is being used when it is exposed (solo or with a partner).

However, the laws vary from place to place on public nudity and masturbation/sexual acts.

As society dictates

Is this need to flog or diddle in public a symptom of an oversexualized society? Or have we just evolved into hornier naked apes?

In this interview I conducted with American dominatrix icon Mistress Tara Indiana, the lady explains how we see a rise in specific kinks and the public’s overall sex play depending on what is happening in society overall. Using the oft-overused word “trending,” the lady offered:

"Yes, well they trend according to what’s going on in society, social and political things that people are living through, what might make them shameful, fearful, or traumatized. When I began it was what we would call garden-variety kinks, cross-dressing, femdom stuff. In the 90s heavy medical, cutting, and blood-sports, became popular, as people rebelled from wearing dental damns, and body condoms; the AIDS scare running through the straight male community made people want to repudiate toxic liquids. And now chastity and cuckolding are very popular due to the fact that men can pretty much have sex in any way they want it so eroticizing not having sex is a trending kink.”

So, a rise in masturbating in public, even if, as the content creator in the NOS piece said was made for a commissioned post, might be a result of or reaction to what is happening globally now. Could this need to ‘get out’ be a direct result of no one getting out and about during the pandemic?

Or have we just evolved into hornier naked apes?

OF, etc. is not the real world

We might just have to put this all down to the fact that naughty content websites are not the real world. They present a fantasy, and that fantasy might just be viewers and creators exercising a desire to have at themselves.

Then again, plenty of people enjoy being voyeurs, which one might easily say is the raison d'être of content creator fan sites.

Or have we just evolved into hornier naked apes?

The Covid-19 shutdown was a perfect breeding ground for fan sites to grow. And as stories were posted daily about the money content creators were making on these sites, exaggerated or not, people flocked to create accounts as fans came on looking for naughty stuff.

And that stuff might just be watching people jerk off on a train traveling from Delft to Utrecht.
