Loving More

Loving More is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting, raising awareness, and advocating for the rights of the polyamorous community. Its origins date back to the publication of the Polyfidelity Education Productions newsletter in 1984. This gave birth to Loving More in 1991. Today, Loving More is the world’s oldest and longest-running polyamory group. The organization is based in the United States.

More About Loving More

Loving More helps raise awareness and support the polyamory community through three key projects: its online magazine, its website, and annual conferences. These conferences on the east and west coasts of the United States are frequented by many of the group’s more than 3,000 members. The online magazine features articles penned by people involved in polyamorous relationships. They address a range of relationship topics including jealousy, communication, compersion, sexuality, and social stigma. The Loving More website contains more general education resources including an explanation of polyamory, frequently asked questions, a listing of professional resources, and more. In addition, Loving More has chapters throughout the United States which offer its members safe spaces to discuss their relationship issues. Monthly discussion groups and other social events help its members connect with other likeminded individuals.

While Loving More was originally developed to support people living in multi-partnered relationships and families, the group has recently expanded its focus to educating the wider community on the possibilities of living a non-monogamous lifestyle. Through this work, Loving More has partnered with doctors, lawyers, therapists, and media outlets. The words of these experts look to reduce the stigma surrounding living a polyamorous lifestyle.
