Our Top 100 Sex Blogging Superheroes of 2015

Last month, we put out a call for our readers to nominate the best and brightest blogs in the sex-positive community. It's our third year running the contest (check out past results here) - and boy, has it been a blast! In tallying up the results, we read through more than 150 sex blogs. We rediscovered many of our old favorites, along with a lot of amazing newcomers. We read deeply honest, personal accounts, super-hot erotica and more sex toy reviews than we can even count. It took many hours - and several people - to put together this year's extensive list and rankings, but we're not going to lie; it is an amazing job to have!

What we learned this year is that the sex blogging community continues to grow and thrive. And, in the heat of this year's very tight competition, all the competitors showed that they play by the rules that they preach. We really can't imagine a more positive, respectful and reciprocal bunch of people. How cool is that?!

This year, we were looking for blogs that wrote well and wrote often about sex; we were looking for blogs that promoted sex-positive thinking and did it in a unique and interesting way; and, we were looking for the blogs that our readers looked to for information, inspiration or titillation (points for offering all three!). When the results came in, we combined our internal scores with readers’ votes to come up with a final tally. We also got some helpful input from this year's sponsor, Sexlog.com.

This category is for blogs that are new to the scene and did not appear in last year's top 100. The winner of this category will receive the new LELO INA Wave.

Top Erotica Blogs of 2015

This category will honor the top blogs for sexy erotic fiction. The winner of this category will receive a CANDiLAND Sensuals gift basket, filled with flavored lubes, massage gel and other sensual goodies.

Top Sex Toy Review Blogs of 2015

This category celebrates the top blogs for sex toy reviews. The winner of this category will receive a LELO Mona Wave.

Top Sex Blogs for/by Men of 2015

This category will shine some light on a growing - but often underrepresented - segment of sex bloggers - people with penises! The winner of this category will receive a handsome LIberator Wedge.

Kinkly's Readers' Choice Award

This category represents the blogs that received the most votes from Kinkly readers. The winner of this category will receive a gift basket from LELO.

And, of course, the grand prize winner of our top 100 Superheroes will receive a $500 cash prize from Kinkly.com.

2. The Redhead Bedhead @JoEllen Notte
This feisty redhead is a perennial favorite Superhero at Kinkly.com for being honest, vulnerable and talking about some pretty tough issues. Also: She's a riot.

3. A Sexy Woman of a Certain Age @ohgoderica
This blogger says she started writing to ignite conversation about sexually empowered boomer women. Mission accomplished!

4. Oh Joy, Sex Toy
Erika Moen's blog was last year's winner, and here it is in the top 10 once again. After all, who can resist a cute, sexy cartoon?

5. Girly Juice @Girly_Juice
Moving on up from from No. 27 on last year's list, Girly Juice writes (sex) geeky, girly and totally relatable content you can't help but love.

6. Crista Anne @pinkness
Crista Ann bills herself as a "rainbow-colored pleasure revolutionary." We love that slogan as much as her bold writing on sex, depression and everything in between.

7. Hey Epiphora @Epiphora
This snarky sex blogger has made our top 10 for the third-year running. Her mercilessly honest sex toy reviews are some of the best - and most entertaining - on the Web.

8. Girl Boner @AugstMcLaughlin
This blog by health and sexuality writer August McLaughlin is heavy on content about body image and female pleasure. Girl boner indeed!

9. Slutty Girl Problems @sluttygrlprobs
This fun site aims to reclaim the word "slut" to mean a woman who is confident and sexually empowered. It's a sassy, judgment free environment for the sexually adventurous - and curious.
