I must admit I’m a virgin when it comes to writing a review for a sex toy product. I do have experience with some sex toys and I am particular in what I like. But I also like to keep things interesting and try new things, so I was up for the adventure of testing out what appeared to be a very unique vibrator.

When I received the Revel Body SOL Sonic vibrator, the packaging was very discreet. I liked the sleek design of the box the vibrator came in. The vibrator itself is something very different; it looked like I had received a wireless speaker. SOL is about the size and shape of a tennis ball, and the bottom is indented like a suction cup. The top of the ball includes an extruded vibrating tip about the diameter of a quarter. This tip can be replaced with other attachment tips to provide different sensations. Both this and the indented side of the device can be used, or the entire ball can be rolled over the body.
The Revel Body SOL's tips pry off easily, like peeling off a sticker. The device comes packaged with three tips, Rose, Fawn and Ever. The Rose attachment tip is smooth and round. The Fawn tip resembles a small tickler. The Ever tip looks like ripples in water. I also received two additional attachments, Cona and Niko. The Cona looks like a soft tiny cup and the Niko resembles a soft sewing thimble. The small charger base that is also included looks like a flattened life preserver. The three buttons fit nicely where your fingertips naturally fall when holding the vibrator. The placement makes it easy to figure out which button speeds up and slows down the action and power the unit. There was also a sample of Pjur Aqua water-based lubricant - a nice touch!

After opening everything up at the end of an exhausting day, my husband and I agreed to try it another time and had left the contents on the floor. The following morning, our six-year-old daughter made an early entrance into our room and after spotting the vibrator asked what that was on the floor. My mouth opened but nothing came out. Thankfully, the design of the vibrator looks more like a wireless speaker or stress ball and something else caught her attention so, she left our room and she never mentioned it again. I quickly made a mad dash out of bed to stash the vibrator into the closest drawer. Phew!

Is this the most discreet sex toy ever, or what?
My Experience
I had a family vacation coming up in a few days and my husband had to go out of town for work before we left so that gave me some personal time to try my new "stress ball." The buttons are intuitive so I jumped right in and tried all the different settings, trying to find one I liked. I had several different attachments that I tried also. They are super easy to switch, which makes it very easy to use.
One of the best features of the Revel Body SOL Sonic vibrator is that it is waterproof. Revel Body mentions that this vibrator can provide the Best. Bath. Ever. This is something I needed to explore further. First, I wanted to explore the suction feature while using it in the water. I tried it on my legs first to make sure I wouldn’t end up with a hickey. The suction felt safe enough for me to explore in more sensitive areas. OMG!! Their statement of "Best. Bath. Ever." is an understatement. I ended up with shampoo bottles floating around me. Next time I’ll remember to clear them out of the way beforehand. One thing I found a bit of an annoyance is locating the buttons in the water. As I was exploring the suction I kept on spinning the vibrator around and would fumble trying to locate the buttons.

The Verdict
I was very pleased with this vibrator and would recommend it to others. My husband and I found it easy to use, and switch, the attachments. It’s also waterproof. Just remember to clear away those shampoo bottles. I give it four hearts out of five.
