Our sex blogger of the month is Carly of Dildo or Dildon't! Dildo or Dildon't was voted one of our Reader's Choice Winners in our Sex Blogging Superheroes of 2019!

Here are 10 questions with Carly to help you get to know her and her blog better.

Kinkly: Give us three words that describe your blog.

Carly: I'd say three words to describe my blog are inclusive, sensual and kinky

Kinkly: What inspired you to start the blog?

Carly:
I've worked in adult retail for eight years and have taught workshops all over the country about pleasure, so it seemed easier to make guides available in one place and build my personal brand, since there aren't a lot of people with my intersection of marginalization doing this work. Then I started reviewing toys and here we are with a mix of guides and reviews.

Kinkly: What’s behind the name?

Carly: I'm a huge fan of puns, I honestly just thought it was funny and memorable.

Kinkly: Who’s your target reader?

Carly:
Anyone looking for answers.

Kinkly: What’s unique about your blog?

Carly:
How inclusive the language I use is. I never want to alienate a reader or someone genuinely curious about a topic, so I try to make it accessible for people that haven’t had access to that particular language. For example, instead of saying women, I always say people with a vulva or a clit, whatever the subject calls for.

Kinkly: What is the topic you find yourself covering most often and why?

Carly:
Pegging! Not only do I love talking about it and doing it, but people have lots of questions.

Kinkly: What was your most popular post ever? Why do you think it drew so many readers?

Carly:
I have a post about how to make sex more comfortable with a tilted uterus ,which is a lot of personal hacks, but now my animal crossing kink guide is making the rounds.

Kinkly: What’s the best thing about writing a sex blog?

Carly: Being able to talk freely and encourage pleasure in other people’s lives.

Kinkly: What’s the worst thing about it?

Carly:
Boundary issues people have. I don’t mind talking about personal things out answering questions most of the time. But I would love if people checked in to see if I have the time or energy first, before diving into personal matters with me. I’m only human and sometimes it's a lot.

Kinkly: OK, now for the good stuff: Give us your best tip for great sex.

Carly: Find a lube that works with you and use it. Even if you're solo. A good lube will have sex better. I talk about my favorite lube, Sliquid, a lot on my blog.
