Sex blogger of the month

Sex Blogger of the Month: F. Leonora Solomon of F Dot Leonora

This month's blogger writes steamy erotica on the regular. Read about her blog - and get her top tip for great sex.

Once each month, Kinkly presents one of the best Sex Bloggers that the Internet has to offer. This month, we are excited to feature F. Leonora Solomon of F Dot Leonora. F. Leonora's posts are exciting, well-written, and beyond steamy! Here are F. Leonora's answers to Kinkly's 10 questions!

Kinkly: Give us three words that describe your blog.

F. Leonora: Fanciful, passionate and experimental.

Kinkly: What inspired you to start the blog?

F. Leonora: I was going to my first Eroticon, and there was a meet and greet meme - my first post is literally called Hello Eroticon!

Kinkly: What's behind the name?

F. Leonora: I got flip about my abbreviation, and decided to call out the dot - from there on it had a mind of its own! Maybe it was also subconsciously because I like polka dots!

Kinkly: Who's your target reader?

F. Leonora: I do not have a target reader in mind, and my readers reflect that. I write things that apply to memes that I do or whatever strikes my fancy - but I do have themes that I circle. I guess that resonates with my regular readers, and I am appreciative.

Kinkly: What's unique about your blog?

F. Leonora: That it is my blog, and reflects whatever is unique about me. Someone else could do it, but it would not sound like me.

Kinkly: What is the topic you find yourself covering most often and why?

F. Leonora: Romance. I am violently romantic! I tried to run away from it, but I have not been successful! There is always someone falling in love in my stories. And when I am not writing fiction, I think my viewpoints are still pretty romantic!

Kinkly: What was your most popular post ever? Why do you think it drew so many readers?

F. Leonora: I think that it is my Kink of the Week: Anonymous Sex post. I wrote it as part of a blog swap with another blogger. When the Kink of the Week meme was anonymous sex, I wrote something entirely new for it. A friend of mine asked me about the swapped story, and I remembered it fit the meme so used it instead. I like it because it has a dark side. So do a lot of my readers!

Kinkly: What’s the best thing about writing a sex blog?

F. Leonora: Since sex is one of my favorite topics to explore, it is like being in a candy store every time I blog! And because it is such a vast topic, it is like going in that store every day and trying something new - but always getting that sugar fix ...

Kinkly: What's the worst thing about it?

F. Leonora: For me, there is not a worst thing in the creation of it. The worst is how people judge sex, and how they judge writings about sex. People also make assumptions about me because I write about sex. That is a drag. Fortunately, I am not around a lot of sex-negative people.

Kinkly: OK, now for the good stuff: Give us your best tip for great sex.

F. Leonora: Have an open mind. I am definitely a sapiosexual, and really believe that our minds are our most erogenous zone. Good sex comes from a sexy psyche.
