“Patients” may be blindfolded to enhance the sensations created by the buck hammer. While the person playing the doctor or nurse may use the buck hammer to strike the knee, as a doctor would, they may also use the hammer to touch, caress, or strike any part of the patient’s body. Using the buck hammer on erogenous zones like the buttocks, thighs, upper back, and calves is particularly effective. You could even use a buck hammer on the genitals or breasts, so long as you didn’t apply too much force.
As buck hammers are typically used externally, they need very little maintenance. However, they can be cleaned with antibacterial dish soap and rubbing alcohol.
