A crossdresser is a person who likes to wear clothing and accessories associated with the opposite sex. This may be because of several reasons including comfort, disguise, and entertainment. Wearing socially designated opposite sex clothes does not mean that the person identifies as the opposite gender. It is different from being transexual or trangendered.
Like everything else that is considered by society as sexually deviant, there is discrimination against a person who is a crossdresser. Many types of cross-dressing is frowned upon by some members of society or is relegated to confined space such as nightclubs and stand-up comic clubs.
