The vas deferens are a pair of male sex organs that connect the epididymis with the ejaculatory duct and the urethra.
Vas deferens are also referred to as ductus deferens.
More About Vas Deferens
The vas deferens are two small tubes that are approximately 30cm in length. They are surrounded by smooth muscle mass and carry ejaculatory fluid from each side of the epididymis to the ejaculatory duct. During orgasm the muscle surrounding the ducts contracts, which allows the fluid to flow through the ducts and into the urethra.

When males undergo a vasectomy, a small, permanent incision is made in each of the ducts.
