Loyalfans’ Vegas Billboard Contest Shows how Fansites Continue to Reshape the Adult Industry

Published: JULY 17, 2024 | Updated: JULY 18, 2024

From Donny and Marie’s oversized blinding-teeth smiles greeting you when you Uber from Harry Reid airport, to the names of the biggest and brightest talent appearing on in town any given week, the most popular entertainers are advertised all over the Las Vegas strip. For an entertainer, what could be better than getting their picture up on a Las Vegas billboard? Loyalfans has taken this concept to an ever-higher stratospheric level than one usually sees in Sin City.

Last month, the massive adult fansite launched its Las Vegas Billboard Contest, inviting Loyalfans creators to compete for an incredible opportunity to have their photo featured on the company's billboard alongside the 1-15 freeway. The winner would also earn all-expenses-paid photoshoot with four of the site’s top creators: Violet Voss, Jayla Page, Daddyy Maee, and Dare Taylor. For creators, whose entire job depends on making their faces (and bodies) as public as possible, the contest amounted to a career-changing chance.

And the winner is...

Earlier this week, Loyalfans finally revealed the winner, fan-favorite Valentina Fox! Fox gushed about the opportunity on her Loyalfans page.

"Did you hear? I’m going to be on Loyalfans new billboard in Vegas! I won Loyalfans billboard contest, which means in less than a month they’re flying me out to Vegas to shoot for their new billboard that will be unveiled in September! This is HUGE! Send congratulation tributes, Goddess is on cloud 9!! I’ll be getting on live later today to celebrate."

Congratulations Valentina!

How fansites like Loyalfans are changing the industry

The existence of a billboard like this in a place like Vegas, a town littered with advertisements of every shape, size, and stripe – especially ones that feature adult entertainment – we can’t help but recognize the reach of Loyalfans and fansites in general. It's also hard to ignore how these sites are changing the adult entertainment industry.

Creators have more control over their careers... and their money

Joining and maintaining a presence on a fansite is truly a ‘no-brainer’ for aspiring and fledgling content creators. On Loyalfans for instance, the content creator is charged no fee when creating their site, and they get to keep 80% of all payouts. They also see 5% of referral commissions when bringing other models to the site.

With fansites, adult content creators also enjoy the freedom to make their own schedule and foster closer relationships with their fans, which directly impacts their ability to earn what they deserve for their work. And with a fansite, amateurs can more easily navigate their first attempts at posting adult content or camming, while avoiding the risks of posting salacious digital content in other places. These platforms remove the massive barrier to entry of breaking into the traditional adult entertainment industry, allowing creators to control their own careers and become stars in their own right.

Of course, it's not all easy, fun work. As the men and women posting on this kind of site all too quickly learn, the work they do is about more than just tickling libidos. It's actually a pretty tough job. But fansites allow them to earn bigger profits and have more control of their work, dialing up whatever they want when they want it for the fan.

And fans get even more of what they want

For fans of adult content, the only restriction when searching the score of performers on a fansite is their own imagination. A true ala carte menu of the tastiest model morsels awaits subscribers as well as the casual fan. They can search up any fetish, scroll through lists of thousands of performers' pictures, and use hashtags to find exactly what they want on any given day.

There are videos to purchase, cam conversations to participate in, and swag to buy, all easily accessed and bought. And when fans find a model they like, the referral service many models engage in, as mentioned above, allows models to send them to other models they may like.

Fansite popularity like Loyalfans is less a case of video killed the radio star and more the fine pairing of technology and porn that has always existed and continues to grow. Given the direction the industry is head in, what’s most surprising is that there aren’t more Loyalfans billboards.
