Sex in the news

Sean Combs Arrested

Published: SEPTEMBER 18, 2024

By the trickling forth of rumors, posted police reports over the summer, a lawsuit filed from his ex-girlfriend and even a Dave Chapelle skit, a day of recking seemed to be on the horizon for Sean “Diddy,” Combs. Yesterday, as of this writing, the 54-year-old music mogul was arrested by Homeland Security federal investigation agents and taken from his hotel in Manhattan. Hit with a RICO indictment, Combs is being charged with alleged sex trafficking and racketeering charges, including kidnapping, bribery, assault, transportation of a person to engage in prostitution, and possibly even arson.

Yes, heavy stuff indeed, that seems to stretch back decades and could be so serious that a judge yesterday denied Combs bail.

Follow the lube

As if the charges, findings and even a hotel beatdown captured on video aren’t enough, it was revealed yesterday with his arrest, that over 1,000 bottles of lubricant were found in a search of the houses in Miami and L.A. “Freak Offs,” is a term used in the indictment, referring to what the main man himself used to call his bacchanalian sex parties fueled by drugs and, it seems, well stocked with lube.

There were indeed controlled substances found in the search of the rap mogul’s residences (Feds also found guns), but for his sex parties, it seems Sean Combs made sure he had plenty of baby oil, lubricant, linens, and lighting to fit the occasions. According to prosecutors, he often recorded the get-togethers (hence the lighting), directed and arranged the meetups, and pleasured himself while present watching the action.

Allegedly for these parties, male sex workers were hired and flown to various hotel locations, while guests who attended were said to leave after the sex marathons needing IVs to recover.

Diddy’s co-conspirators

In this report, Damian Williams, US attorney for the Southern District of New York Damian is quoted from a press conference he gave, that he assumes, “Combs did not do this alone.” And under the U.S. Pinkerton liability rule, people named as ‘co-conspirators’ can be found guilty of crimes even if these persons did not know about the crimes being committed.

But from most news reports it is predicted that the people who worked for Combs are less likely to be charged as they might be called as witnesses. It’s the other folks who were not under his employ, having participated in the parties, who might come under possible prosecution.

But for now, according to prosecutors, there is a “laser focus,” on the main man only.

Cassie Ventura’s lawsuit

These infamous Sean Combs sex parties were first made known when his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit in November of last year (she is the woman seen in the hotel beating video). In her suit, Cassie reiterates some of the charges above, that Sean Combs “manipulated women to participate in highly orchestrated performances of sexual activity with male commercial sex workers.” The meetings “occurred regularly, sometimes lasted multiple days, and often involved multiple commercial sex workers.” And that Combs not only “distributed a variety of controlled substances to victims, in part to keep the victims obedient and compliant,” but that he and his participants “typically received IV fluids to recover from the physical exertion and drug use.”

Cassie Ventura’s lawsuit has since been settled.

Other charges

According to this report in The Sun, federal officials were investigating Combs in connection with Tupac Shakur’s murder.

Music producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones filed a suit against Combs at the beginning of the year. He claims that Combs forced him to hire sex workers and have sex with them, that Combs constantly groped him, and that owes his money for work on Lil Rod’s, The Love Album: Off The Grid release.

There surely will come more specifics to the above charges and maybe even more indictments. But for now, Sean Combs' lawyer Marc Agnifilo, claims his client is being unfairly targeted.
