Kinkly: Give us three words that describe your blog.
Carly: I'd say three words to describe my blog are inclusive, sensual and kinky
Kinkly: What inspired you to start the blog?
Carly: I've worked in adult retail for eight years and have taught workshops all over the country about pleasure, so it seemed easier to make guides available in one place and build my personal brand, since there aren't a lot of people with my intersection of marginalization doing this work. Then I started reviewing toys and here we are with a mix of guides and reviews.
Kinkly: What’s behind the name?
Carly: I'm a huge fan of puns, I honestly just thought it was funny and memorable.
Kinkly: Who’s your target reader?
Carly: Anyone looking for answers.
Kinkly: What’s unique about your blog?
Carly: How inclusive the language I use is. I never want to alienate a reader or someone genuinely curious about a topic, so I try to make it accessible for people that haven’t had access to that particular language. For example, instead of saying women, I always say people with a vulva or a clit, whatever the subject calls for.
Kinkly: What is the topic you find yourself covering most often and why?
Carly: Pegging! Not only do I love talking about it and doing it, but people have lots of questions.
Kinkly: What was your most popular post ever? Why do you think it drew so many readers?
Carly: I have a post about how to make sex more comfortable with a tilted uterus ,which is a lot of personal hacks, but now my animal crossing kink guide is making the rounds.
