Do Something Unexpected
Remember that classic GoT scene when Jon Snow takes Ygritte into the cave? Although he is a virgin and she is not, he shocks her by giving her some pretty mind-blowing oral sex, something no man has ever done to her before. He just “wanted to kiss” her there (that’s our kind of man!). Using that as inspiration, spice it up by doing something unexpected … in a good way!
Try a new sex position, surprise your partner with a new sex act or bring a toy to the bedroom. If you’ve never used a sex toy with your partner (or even if you have), there's always new and innovate toys with features you've never imagined!
Play with Temperature
Sure, it’s cold outside, but the GoT book series is technically called "A Song of Ice and Fire," so why not bring a little ice into the bedroom? Try rubbing an ice cube over your lover’s nipples, down their back, or wherever you think will make them shiver with anticipation. Afterward, make sure you go over those areas with your breath to warm them back up again. Hot wax is another fun way to play with temperature; just make sure that wax isn’t too hot! Burns are not sexy. Or, take a steamy shower together. The hot water - and your naked bodies together - will warm you right up.
Denial
If there’s one thing we love to watch on TV, it’s waiting for romances to unfold: for the two characters that you want to see together finally, FINALLY kiss each other; to see them passionately embrace and enjoy each other after weeks (or months, or years) of yearning. Why not do the same thing with your partner? Build the tension slowly with them: quick little kisses, a graze of the hand, a certain look in your eye. Slowly escalate throughout the night, until you can’t stand it anymore. The buildup of all that tension will feel even better when you release it.
