To attach the clit clip, the clitoris should be stimulated so that it stands erect. Then the clip is opened up and slid down around the inner labia. The clitoris should protrude from the top of the clip.
The clit clip should feel a little constricting, but not painful. If it is, the clip may be too tight. This can be corrected by pulling the legs of the clip open to stretch the metal. Some lubrication will make it easier to attach the clit clip. Commercial lubricants may be too slippery unless a very small amount is used; natural vaginal lubricant or saliva can also be used.
Clit clips can also be appreciated as fashion accessories. Many are very beautiful, with colored beads and crystals enhancing the basic design.
