One can be a heteroromantic and feel romantic attraction to someone of the opposite sex or gender but not identify as a heterosexual, or someone who feels sexual desire and sexual attraction to someone of the opposite sex or gender. Heteromantic asexuals seek romantic relationships, intimacy, companionship and affection, but they may not possess sexual attraction toward their romantic partners.
