More About Play Piercing
Play piercing should not be entered into lightly. It should only be done by trained practitioners using sterile hypodermic needles or acupuncture needles. Having rubbing alcohol or iodine on hand to wipe down the skin is a good idea. Proper play piercing is a fairly low-risk proposition but in the case of improper technique there is the risk of puncture wounds or blood-borne disease transmission.
