Njoy Pure Wand: Sex Toy Review
Professional tools yield professional results. The Njoy Pure Wand is a professional tool, from one bulbed end to the other.
The Product: nJoy Pure Wand
The Verdict: Five Kinkly Hearts out of Five
The Njoy Pure Wand means business. And that's a good thing when you are serious about getting down.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for cutesy sex toys (especially if they sparkle). I have a drawer full of them. But sometimes you gotta call in the big guns. If you want heavy pleasure, or if a hooked, slightly industrial-looking stainless steel dildo happens to match the aesthetic of your scene better than a fun, bright one does, the Njoy Pure Wand is what you need.
How to Use the Njoy Pure Wand
There are myriad ways to put this simple-looking toy to use!
First off, it's a great option for temperature and sensation play. I found the heavy feeling of steel against skin to be titillating in a way I hadn't expected. The weight pressing against me was very satisfying. If you or your partner are averse to tickling but crave a teasing scenario, this is a good toy to use. Run it under warm water for a cozy sensual experience -- or, alternatively, put it in the fridge for a deliciously cruel sensation against your sub's skin or inside them.
The shape and ease of sanitization also make the Njoy Pure Wand a prime anal toy. I would put the caveat that you probably don't want to use this for your first foray into butt stuff, though. Even the smaller end is not what I'd call easy for an anal amateur and the steel is not as pliable (and therefore as comfortable) as silicone. That said, if you have a bit of experience with back door play, you may love this. The curve makes it easier to target the prostate than a straight wand, and a little lube goes a long way with a toy that is nice and slick to begin with.

You could also use the Njoy Pure Wand as a vaginal hook or an anal hook, securing your rope beneath the larger bulb. I'm not sure the curve is steep enough for any kind of suspension bondage, though. If you are wanting to use it that way, please ensure you are using all the required safety precautions. Wipe any lube off the handle because it makes it really slippery. Like, hard-to-hold-onto slippery.
All of the above uses for the Njoy Pure Wand are really just roundabout ways of saying it's the perfect shape to hit a g-spot or a p-spot. The handle has that "just so" angle designed to hit these spots head-on. Plus, the end is broad enough to avoid needing to pinpoint exactly where those elusive spots are. Some folks have reported this was the toy that got them squirting. That's not to say it's massive, though: The larger end is smaller than a ping pong ball -- a circumference that hardly puts it in size queen territory. Even if you prefer monster dongs, you might still get a thrill from this just due to the weight (slightly more than a pound and an half).
Another advantage of the Njoy Pure Wand's broadly rounded shape is the potential for cervical orgasms. If you've experimented trying to have one, you may have found a blunt shape is much more effective than anything pointed (like fingers. No thank you!)
(Cervical orgasm tips from Auntie Aurora: Be very turned on before pressing up against your cervix. Pulse or circle the toy; don't jam it or thrust hard. Your cervix pulls back and sits higher when you are turned on; you might need to vary how far you are penetrating yourself if it's a very arousing sesh.)

I also put the Njoy Pure Wand to work practicing pompoir, which is kind of fancy sex Kegels. I've used weighted geisha balls before and I'd say my PC muscles are pretty strong, but this wand knocked the workout up a notch. This is going to be a work in progress!
Product details
- Length: 8 in.
- Diameter of Smaller Bulbed Tip: 1 in.
- Diameter of Larger Bulbed Tip: 1.5 in.
- Weight: 1.51 lbs.
The Njoy Pure Wand is 11 inches long if you measure along the curve, and the bulbs are eight inches apart if you measure the straight distance from end to end. The smaller bulb measures one inch in diameter, while the larger bulb measures one and a half inches.
While most people wouldn’t consider either bulb particularly big, the fact that steel has absolutely no give to it means that the bulbs can feel a bit bigger if you’re used to softer materials like silicone. Because the Pure Wand is solid steel, it is heavy: one and a half pounds. The only thing I have that would be close is the Magic Wand, but that has only ever been used externally in my bed chamber. This means that if you have arm or wrist mobility challenges (like arthritis), it may not be something you can use on your own.
This gives you an idea of the size. My hands are not huge, but not miniature.
How to Hold the Njoy Pure Wand
The words of Lauren Bacall come to mind: "You know how to whistle, don't you? Just put your lips together and blow." Substitute "whistle" with "use a dildo" and the second part with "Just clean it and put it in."
In other words, using this toy is very straightforward. There are no bells nor whistles. There's no remote control or variable vibration patterns -- just a curved stainless steel rod with a ball at each end. So, you use it the way one uses such things: teasing sensitive bits and/or fucking yourself and others. Some toys in my collection are stored with the instruction manual, because I will never remember which button does what, but the Njoy Pure Wand is pure simplicity.
Here are a few moves you may want to add to your repertoire:
The Light Thrust
If this is your first time using the Njoy Pure Wand or if you’re not sure exactly where your g-spot is, lightly and slowly thrusting will help you figure it out. A light, gentle thrust is perfect for warming up. Just focus on getting your blood flowing, finding the right spot and getting into a rhythm.

The Twist
As the name implies, this move is all about the flick of the wrist. Instead of thrusting, you twist the Pure Wand from side to side while gripping whichever bulbed end is not inside you (or your partner).
The See-Saw
Less intense than The Twist but more interesting than The Light Thrust, The See-Saw is also easy on your joints. It's basically gently bouncing the toy up and down against the g-spot. As you push down on the exposed bulbed end, the internal bulb will press up against your G-spot (or prostate) and create an amazing feeling of pressure and fullness.
The Jackhammer
Alright, so you’ve been Lightly Thrusting; you’ve Twisted; you’ve See-Sawed; and you think you’re about to see the light at the end of the tunnel. You need pressure and speed and you need it now. Jack away, my friends!
How to Sanitize the Njoy Pure Wand
I love me an easy-to-clean toy, and this one has to be one of the easiest. I give it a squirt of sex toy cleaner (dish soap is fine for this toy too), suds up, rinse off and let it air dry. There are no nooks and crannies to collect lube or body fluids -- so clean-up is pretty straightforward.
As far as storage goes, I store the wand in the box it came in. Unlike with silicone toys, there is no concern about it degrading if it comes in contact with other silicone products -- but the box is so nice, I don't know why you wouldn't want to use it.
Can You Boil the Njoy Pure Wand?
Yes! The Njoy Pure Wand is a rare toy that can be safely boiled. In fact, this is one of the best ways to deep-clean the toy if another person will be using it or if you used it anally and now want to use it for vaginal penetration.
To avoid having it roil and bang into the sides of the pot, use just enough water to submerge the toy fully, and put a cloth on the bottom of the pot. Let it cool before you touch it or insert it.
Packaging
As I mentioned, the Njoy Pure Wand comes in a lovely box. It reminds me of a presentation box for a fancy piece of jewelry or an award, lined with satin. The toy shipped in a plain brown box, indistinguishable from the other boxes that get delivered regularly. Inside a white cardboard sleeve (with "njoy" emblazoned in hot pink) is the black storage box.
I don't have the kind of house where I would be able to leave it laying around without prompting questions, but it is pretty discreet. It also seems very durable and I expect to get many years' use from it.
The Verdict
Unreservedly, five out of five.
The only aspect of this toy with which I am not wildly in love is the price point. It isn't the most expensive toy out there, but it certainly isn't in the budget category. However, I think it's worth it because it will literally never wear out. If I can still lift it when I'm an old lady, I'll be pulling this bad boy out in the nursing home!
Alternatives to the Njoy Pure Wand
If you want to stick with stainless steel, these are good options for fun of a different size:
If you want something you can disinfect easily, glass is also a good option -- and generally less expensive than stainless steel. While you usually can't boil silicone, there are disinfectant cleaners you can use, and the comfort can be a big plus!
I'd recommend:
Conclusion
Hefty, sleek, and easy-to-care-for, the Njoy Pure Wand absolutely does not disappoint. This versatile toy opens up nearly endless pleasure possibilities and can be used on multiple erogenous zones for an all-around good time.
